Hours:
1.0 FTE Kennedy High School

Required Licensure:
   Current MN Teaching License: School Social Worker with Masters Degree
   Current Social Work License: LGSW, LISW or LICSW

Required Experience:
• Experience supporting the social, emotional and mental health needs of adolescents
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students and adults of across economic, racial and cultural difference
• Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support processes 
• Knowledge of restorative practices and cultural proficiency

Responsibilities:
• In collaboration with the student support team, provide individual, group, schoolwide, family and community services 
• Conduct threat/risk assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary team to meet student needs 
• Facilitate and/or co-facilitate restorative circles 
• Connect students and families to community resources that serve to remove barriers to school access and learning
• Provide crisis intervention services and support

• Lead groups on a variety of topics
• Provide Crisis intervention assessment and service, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address student needs

• Liaison to community building resources:  Washburn Therapist, Phase Zero, Cornerstone
• HHM building lead
