SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Director of Special Services this position will provide direct instruction and instructional support to middle school students with Learning Disabilities and work in collaboration with the general education teachers. Monitor and evaluate outcomes for students. Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEP).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

2. Thorough knowledge of IEP, learning theory, differentiated instruction, data collection, best instructional practices, research-based reading instruction and assessments.

  EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

2. Certification by the New Hampshire Department of Education in Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities (1855) preferred.
3. Experience with inclusion classrooms and the co-teaching model preferred.

Salary:  $46,310 - $88,449 per year plus $1,000 stipend (salary and stipend are prorated based on the remaining days in the 2024-2025 school year contract)

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Principal, the Summer School Nurse serves as a team member with support personnel to provide an educational program which promotes the physical, emotional and mental health of students served by the Milford School District. The school nurse will primarily provide services to Title 1 and students with an IEP.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:   Completed a Board of Nursing approved registered nursing program at the associate degree level or higher under RSA 326-B  and Have 3 years of current experience in pediatric nursing or other related nursing areas. All school nurses hired after August 25, 2019 holding an associate’s degree in nursing shall be enrolled in a registered nurse to bachelor of science in nursing program, and shall complete such program within 6 years of the date of hire.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:  Title 1/ESY Summer Social Worker
Under the direction of the school Title 1 coordinators and ESY coordinator, the Social Worker assists children in resolving developmental, educational, psycho-social and mental health problems through diagnosis, counseling, and consultation. To provide referrals to appropriate outside agencies and/or in-district services. To work closely with students, parents, teachers, the child study team, other necessary staff members and community agencies to facilitate the student’s maximum functioning in the educational process.
