Options Secondary Program is an alternative program supporting students who have struggled in a traditional school. Many of our students require additional supports for mental health concerns, regulating emotions and learning and practicing appropriate behaviors. Our Phoenix Program 6-9 delivers care in a trauma informed environment and is responsible for providing individual and/or small group instructional strategies, under the indirect supervision of licensed staff, to students enrolled in the Phoenix Program 6-9 @ Options. Also responsible for generalizing knowledge and training for all students; making independent decisions within appropriate parameters; implementing team designed behavior support plans; following health care action plans; fostering independence by teaching functional life skills; monitoring and supporting students during special activities, preparing and modifying instructional materials; collecting data for IEP goals, CPS plans and behavior plans, monitoring and providing feedback on student progress, maintaining student confidentiality and adapting to changes in responsibilities and schedules.
This position is 7.5 hours per day
Starting Salary: Grade 5 - $20.17/hour
