Position Purpose
Littleton Public Schools educators deserve a coherent instructional infrastructure that empowers them to meet the evolving needs of students. The Learning & Teaching Team is responsible for designing and sustaining this coherent district-wide instructional system that has the following elements:
(1) evidence-based, standards-aligned, and student-centered approaches to learning and teaching,
(2) high-quality curriculum, interventions, and assessments,
(3) transformative professional development, and
(4) collaborative structures among educators with coaching and feedback.
The Postsecondary Learning TOSA will support CE and CTE programming at all LPS middle schools, high schools and program schools by helping to plan, implement, monitor and support reporting to improve and increase the post-secondary opportunities for LPS students.

Essential Duties
Communicates and promotes the district’s CTE and CE programs, courses, and learning experience options to parents, students, and the community
Maintains knowledge of and participates in CE, CTE pathway related initiatives at the local and state levels as appropriate to share learning/tools, and build readiness and capacity
Compile CTE/CE data and assist in the preparation of reports and grants
Assist in Concurrent Enrollment registration tasks, including preparing student rosters and spreadsheets for each school, calling students/parents/guardians to support the registration process, managing the collection of CE data
Assist in refining Infinite Campus’s CTE/CE data to improve reporting
Assist in professional learning needs for instructors, counselors and post-grad coordinators as related to CTE and CE programs, courses, and learning experiences.
Assist in creating efficient workflow systems to maximize clear communication and data collection.
Participate as a member of LPS’s Postsecondary Learning Advisory Committee (PSLAC)
Professional Responsibilities

General
Participates in all relevant district required professional development
Stays current with professional literature and the latest research on promising practices, instructional strategies and curriculum materials related to the specific content area or standards.
Promotes and adheres to all Board of Education policies, school procedures and other regulations established by district administration.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education/Certification
Bachelor’s degree required.
Hold or be eligible to hold a Colorado Teaching License, Prefer an endorsement in specialty area.
Criminal background check required for hire.
Experience
Basic understanding of Career Technical Education components and Concurrent Enrollment programming.
Evidence of experience with collecting data and use of spreadsheets.
Evidence of at least five years of demonstrated effective classroom experience preferred.
Evidence of successful experience working with adult learners.
Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional and assessment practices including instructional resources (print and online).
Demonstrates strong skills in oral and written communication and the ability to use technologies for communication.
Ability to establish positive and supportive relationships with colleagues.
Evidence of willingness to advance district and building priorities.
Organizational skills and initiative in working with minimal direct supervision.
Demonstrates flexible approaches toward problem-solving to gain positive outcomes.
