Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a Second Grade Teacher at Lewis-Palmer Elementary School beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. Must have, or be eligible to receive a current Colorado license with appropriate endorsement along with the CDE READ Act requirements.

The first day for teachers new to our district is August 1, 2025.
Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 17 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 18, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,000-$71,866. The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website. *This position is eligible for a new hire bonus of $2,000, $1000 to be paid after 90 days and $1000 paid in March 2026 paycheck.
Full-time employees, employed at least thirty hours per week, of Lewis-Palmer School District are eligible for health insurance plans that include medical, dental, vision, and a life insurance.
