Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a special education paraprofessional beginning with the 2024-25 school year. Must be willing and able to support elementary aged students who have Autism in a highly structured program and setting. Must be a flexible team player and have the genuine desire to work with children. Must be able to assist in small group activities or work one-on-one to follow the educational support plans for the students. Must be able to work as part of a team. The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.15-$20.70 depending on previous experience. A higher starting wage rate may be granted to applicants who hold one of the following: a current Colorado educator's license, current 5-year Substitute Authorization, RBT certification, CNA license or RMA/CMA certificate. This position is part-time, 3.5 hrs per day, on school days. The start date for this position is 03/3/2025.
