Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the assistant principal is to assist the building principal in the supervision and improvement of instruction and professional competencies. Job Summary:
Under the direction and supervision of the Superintendent, the Director of School Safety is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role involves developing, implementing, and enforcing safety and security policies, access control procedures, accident prevention measures, risk management initiatives, and emergency response programs, including fire safety and traffic enforcement. Primary Responsibilities:

Job Description:
The band director is responsible for leading and managing one of the District’s instrumental music and band programs for students in grades fifth through eighth. The band director develops and implements instructional plans, teaching students fundamental and advanced musical concepts during the school day through a pull-out model, as well as during after school rehearsals. The band director organizes and rehearses for performances/concerts that are presented to the school and the community. Qualifications:
• Current and valid  Illinois Professional Educator License with a music endorsement for grades K-12;
• Strong knowledge of instrumental techniques, music theory, and ensemble direction;

The Registered Professional Lead Nurse will oversee the School-based Certified School Nurse (CSN-PEL) and Registered Professional School Nurses in collecting, evaluating, interpreting, and communicating health related information for Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings and implementing the Health Related Educational recommendations. The Registered Professional Lead Nurse provides services at multiple sites and serve as the organizational leader for the nursing staff. This position is for the 2025-2026 school year. 

Job Duties/Essential Functions: 
• Assesses the health and safety needs of the school and implements preventative measures and procedures to protect the health and safety of the students and staff.
• Assists school personnel with health curriculum planning and serves as a resource person in the area of health education and in-service activities.
• Consults with school personnel and parents about the health needs and problems of specific students, maintaining professional confidence.
• Assists in organizing and implementing various screening programs, such as vision, hearing, etc., for both regular and special education students.
• Provides follow-up for deficits in vision, hearing, growth and development, and other physical deficits.

Job Summary:
The Middle School Counselor is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive school-counseling program that is preventative in design, and supports students in the areas of academic achievement, career and college planning, and social emotional development. The Middle School Counselor collaborates with school staff, parents, and the community to create a safe, respectful learning environment where young adolescents can develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.

 Primary Responsibilities:
• Uses data to develop and inform the school counseling program and evaluates the program’s impact on the school’s instructional and social emotional learning goals.
• Uses available data, including academic grades, discipline referrals, and attendance data to identify students in need and to deliver services.
• Collaborates on the development and management of the school counseling program with the principal.
• Utilizes responsive counseling, initiating individual and group sessions for students with academic, social, and emotional concerns.
• Intervenes during crises and participates on the school crisis team.
• Collaborates with the feeder high school district to prepare students for the transition to high school.
• Plans and coordinates programs such as step up day for incoming sixth grade students, career and high school fairs, and other extensions of the counseling program to support students.
• Participates in the problem solving and intervention process in order to advocate for students’ needs and provide guidance for school staff.
• Assists families in obtaining services for their children through an appropriate referral and follow-up process.
• Conducts a yearly program audit to review the extent and quality of program implementation.

 Qualifications:
• Current and valid state of Illinois Professional Educator License with a school counselor endorsement;
• Two or more years of successful counseling experience with middle school students in a public school setting preferred;
