The Chappaqua Central School District is a community of six schools serving approximately 3500 students in Westchester County. Chappaqua CSD is looking for a child-centered, thoughtful & knowledgeable educator to serve in the probationary position of (0.4) CPSE Chairperson assigned to the role of district-wide CPSE Chairperson beginning 8/28/25.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Assists with the identification and placement of all types of exceptional students.
Current knowledge of best practices in educating students with disabilities in inclusive school environments.
Ability to effectively facilitate group decision making processes.
Thorough knowledge of current federal and state regulations governing CPSE.
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with parents and teachers.
Coordinates with staff members to ascertain individual student's abilities and needs, including students with special needs, and to familiarize stakeholders with psychological services.
Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping.
Encourages parental involvement in students' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents.
