    Hours:
    32 hours per week
    168 days per year, plus 11 paid holidays 
    Monday through Friday- 6 hours and 24 minutes per day 

    Salary: 
     Class III $22.86-$25.95 per hour
     *Wage placement based on similar experience

    Required Education: 
    • High School Diploma
    • 60 credits post-secondary education or a passing score on the Para Pro Exam

    Required/Preferred Experience:
    • Experience working in an educational setting with children aged 3-5 years
    • Enjoys working with children and the ability to work with a teaching team
    Responsibilities:
    • Paraprofessionals will be responsible for assisting teachers with students, material preparation, classroom organization, ensuring student safety and other duties as assigned. 
    • Paraprofessionals work with teachers in a positive and collaborative environment, and have a basic understanding of child development. 
    • Paraprofessionals assist teacher in implementing lesson plans and collecting data to capture child's growth and progress throughout the school year.
