Do re-seeding, grassing, and fertilizing lawn areas as required. Tasks include mowing, edging, trimming, and watering lawns, fields, and other turf areas, as well as edging walkways, removing weeds and leaves, and sweeping litter from assigned areas General grounds cleanup involves removing debris and reporting repair needs; clean out and maintain storm drains and gutters as needed. Assisting with irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair is another duty, along with performing other grounds maintenance tasks like tree removal and fence repair. Perform light fill and grading in leveling and erosion prevention. Use of pesticides and other sprays to control vegetation and pests.   Operating and maintaining various equipment such as mowers, blowers, and trimmers is also part of the job, along with applying pest control methods as assigned. Maintain operator permits necessary in the performance of assigned duties. Routine lifting of weight in the 25-100 lb. range, assisted and unassisted. Routine lifting of extension ladders. Routine seat time on mowing/grounds equipment averaging 4-6 hours daily and 20 – 30 hours weekly. Perform as a utility man in other tasks as required.  Additionally, maintaining athletic fields includes marking and maintaining play areas. Performance Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Supervises and instructs assigned cafeteria personnel in maintaining nutrition and sanitation standards, food and labor cost control, reports and records (e.g. goal setting and coaching; disciplinary actions; employee relations; etc.) for the
purpose of administering the program in accordance with federal/state regulations
2. Understands and can properly complete production records
3. Assesses equipment and supply needs (e.g. provides training for proper use of equipment, including conservation of energy; serves as potential point of contact for refrigeration emergencies, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining an adequate inventory to provide nutritional services efficiently and within budget guidelines.
4. Conducts a variety of operations reviews at designated sites (e.g. organization and efficiency of cafeteria operation, etc.) for the purpose of meeting federal, state and local guidelines
5. Coordinates substitute employee schedules (e.g. dispatches substitutes to cover school staff vacancies and absences, etc.) for the purpose of providing coverage for sites as needed.
6. Oversees the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverage items at assigned sites (e.g. developing work schedules to achieve maximum efficiency timing meal production with meal period scheduling, etc.) for the purpose of providing for food service that meets mandated nutritional requirements within budget and in accordance with health standards.
7. Performs functions of other positions within the area of responsibility for the purpose of ensuring adequate coverage of food service operations.
8. Prepares documentation (e.g. information to leadership regarding meal period scheduling, ordering procedures, cash handling procedures, free and reduced-price meal accountability, and equipment operation, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information.
9. Provides training for safe food handling (e.g. food preparation, health standards, sanitation methods, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring compliance with food service program requirements.
10. Reconciles point-of-sale transactions (e.g. meal counts, monies collected, etc.) for the purpose of balancing accounts and adhering to established accounting practices.
11. Promote menu compliance in accordance with USDA guidelines for the purpose of meeting students' mandated daily nutritional requirements.
12. Performs Functions of other related duties within the area of responsibility for the purpose of ensuring the efficient, effective functioning of the work unit.

Job Goal:  Utilize leadership, advocacy, and collaboration. School-based speech-language pathologists provide prevention, assessment, and remediation services for students who exhibit difficulties in the areas of language, speech, voice and fluency. The services are designed to help children meet their educational goals in support of the district’s mission.
Performance Duties & Responsibilities: Organizes the program and works cooperatively with school personnel to accomplish the goals and objectives of the local education agency. Provides services that support the curriculum and instruction for students with disabilities to ensure that federal, state, and local Board of Education standards are being met. Consults with school teams regarding expected communication skills for students and makes recommendations if students demonstrate speech-language deficiencies that may adversely affect   their ability to advance in the curriculum. Follows federal, state, and local due process procedures to identify, evaluate, and diagnoses students who may need speech-language services. As part of the school's eligibility team, follows federal, state, and local guidelines for determining eligibility for speech-language services. Plans evidence-based interventions appropriate for individual students and groups of students. These interventions are designed to provide the students to access to and advance within the curriculum. Manages the facilities, materials and equipment, necessary to the delivery of services. Maintains confidentiality of students and student records Adheres to local, state, federal regulations and ethical practices when providing all speech language services. This includes, but is not limited to, completing procedural documentation, evaluating students, determining eligibility, developing appropriate IEPs based on individual student needs, and implementing services. Communicates with educational teams, including parents, regarding the students' speech language needs, services, and progress. Attend and participate in professional learning activities. Attend in-school faculty meetings and speech department meetings. Submit periodic reports to the Director or Coordinator of Services for Exceptional Students. Upholding professional standards, contributing to professional growth, and supporting the school's mission through effective communication and participation in professional development practices, meeting certification and accreditation standards, and seeking improvement through professional development and evaluation activities. Fulfilling other job-related duties as assigned by administrators, advising parents and/or legal guardians of student progress, and adhering to local school procedures and regulations in a supportive manner. Collaborating with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to assess student needs, progress, expectations, and goals, and facilitating students' learning across various activities.  Providing appropriate instruction and communicating responsibly with all individuals and groups, maintaining plans according to policies and/or directives, promoting responsible use of materials and equipment, and accounting for student attendance and conduct while ensuring health and safety measures, and modeling appropriate behaviors such as conversation, manners, and clean-up activities. Perform other duties as assigned by Principal or Supervisor.   Other Functions:    Daily attendance and punctuality are required to ensure the goals of the work unit are met.
Working Environment:   The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands:    Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally, the job requires 65% walking/standing, 25% sitting and 10% lifting/carrying.
