JOB SUMMARY
 
Perform routine food service activities related to the setting up of serving areas and the serving of food to students and staff; assemble lunches, maintain cleanliness of food service facilities.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 
• Prepare food service facilities for the serving of food; count and set out an appropriate number of food trays; prepare the steam table for serving hot meals. Verify menu items are on the steam table and may assist in reporting.
• Wash and prepare eating and serving areas; set out food, trays and beverages according to established procedures.
• Maintain work areas and serving areas in a clean, sanitary and safe condition; wash and clean counters and steam tables; wash and store pots, pans, trays and kitchen equipment.
• Clean, store and maintain organization in walk-in cooler including fruit, meat and vegetable.
• Receiving, storing and maintaining temperature of foods.  Assist in storing unused food and supplies; dispose of unusable leftovers and garbage.
• Operate a variety of standard kitchen equipment such as, dishwasher, and ovens; report faulty equipment as necessary
• Distribute of breakfast foods  (PK – 12) from delivering to clean-up.
• Must complete and update required annual training including food handler certification.  Maintain good attendance.

The Outreach and Engagement Liaison will be part of the inaugural Strategy & External Affairs team that is charged with elevating the TCCC/RYSS brand, and building capacity and impact by identifying and securing resources, including but not limited to partnerships, volunteers, as well as public, private, and philanthropic funds.  The Outreach and Engagement Liaison plays a critical role in the TCCC/RYSS school expansion plans. 

The Outreach and Engagement Liaison is responsible for creating awareness of the TCCC/RYSS and driving enrollment for each new school, as well as implementing the organization's family and community engagement strategy to sustain enrollment. 


QUALIFICATIONS


Education/Certification: 
    
• Associate's Degree in a related field or work experience with students and parents  in school environment required; Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

• 5+ year experience in community engagement, including serving as an advocate for students and parents, as well as supervisory experience

The PEIMS clerk will perform a variety of fully proficient level clerical support tasks, including but not limited to: registration, enrollment, attendance, scheduling, grades/report cards and the withdrawal of students. The position requires strong computer skills and often involves highly confidential materials. Work decisions are made in accordance with established and departmental policies. The candidate must also demonstrate proficiency in coding of students regarding PEIMS/TSDS procedures and maintain accurate attendance records for the campus.

Attendance Reporting

• Generate and maintain attendance data (absence verification) as it relates to Average Daily Attendance (ADA)
• Prepare campus for 1st and 4th six-weeks teacher verification and six-weeks data verification processes
• Process and maintain confidentiality with all applicable student records, including documents required for audit
• Monitor percentage in attendance (ADA report) to ensure attendance is not less than previously reported ADA (for waiver purposes)
• Perform PEIMS-based duties and data entry, as they pertain to attendance-taking procedures

Data Entry
 
• Monitor data anomalies to ensure data quality using software approved by the District
• Enter data into TxEIS (SIS) as they pertain to PEIMS TSDS attendance, enrollment, grades and other data

• Assists teacher(s) in the enforcement of classroom management and behavioral plans, creating an environment that is appropriate for learning.
• Assists with supervising students during breakfast, recess, lunch, dismissal, special events, and programs.
• Assists teacher(s) in the preparation of paperwork for the ARD/IEP process. Collects and enters data for completion of special education reports and documents.
• Assists teacher(s) with the planning, preparation and implementation of differentiated instruction for individual students and groups.
• Performs other campus duties as assigned.
   
Education & Experience
High School Diploma minimum
Experience working with children
