Compensation
Stipend Range: $5500-$7000 determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications. This position is not benefits eligible.

Position Overview:
Bishop Blanchet High School is seeking a Girls Swim and Dive Head Coach for the 2025-2026 Fall Season. Applicants with previous coaching experience at the HS level, 21 years or older, possessing a valid Washington State driver’s license with a CDL endorsement, and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification are preferred. This position reports to the Athletic Director.
Girls Swim and Dive is a Fall Sport. The season runs from August 25, 2025 through November 15, 2025.
Responsibilities:
Compliance with all Bishop Blanchet HS, Metro League, and WIAA policies and procedures.
Maintain good relationship with pool staff at View Ridge Swim and Tennis Center (practice facility).
Supervision of student-athletes during all team activities including practices and meets. Coaches need to be available between the hours of 3pm-7pm during the season as well as weekends for invitationals.
Design and implement proper training programs during fall to meet the needs of each student-athlete.
Coordinate Diving practice with the league coach due to it being at a different site than home practice site. Effective communication with players, coaching colleagues, and parents.
Promotion of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and fair play among team members.
Motivate and encourage players' individual progress with an emphasis on promoting teamwork and strategic development.
Manage coaching staff.
Manage the yearly swim and dive budget.
Summer camp participation is recommended with the job.
