Assumption Catholic School is seeking a full-time teacher for the following position. The position will begin on Monday, August 25, 2025 and go through June 2026. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
Job Description:
Eighth Grade History Religion, Language, and Literature
Drama Elective
Lesson planning
Assessment, reporting, and regular communication with parents
Maintain, as fully as possible, the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which he/she is assigned.
Assume responsibility for overseeing student behavior in class and during morning recess and other activities.
Attend all professional development activities on early-release days, staff work days, and occasional evenings.
Maintain appropriate records including marking student absences and tardies.
Report to the principal of any incidents of misbehavior.
Follow all school policies, rules and procedures which good teaching dictates. Design and create essential classroom agreements with your students.

Hours of duty:
Rate of pay: The current salary schedule for a full time BA.+zero additional units, 1-3 years of experience is $47,000 - 58,500 per year. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.

Qualifications: (Only qualified applicants will be reviewed.)
- Bachelor of Arts or equivalent
- Teaching certification required, Masters preferred
- Practicing Catholic
- Willingness to promote and educate in Christian values and Biblical teachings.
- Three years of middle or high school teaching experience preferred
