  Position Title: Volunteers / Chaperones / Mentors

Steps to Become a Pasadena ISD Volunteer:
 
1. Complete an online application with Frontline Recruit and Hire applicant-tracking system. Select the job opening for Volunteers for the curent school year.
2. The review process could take up to 5-7 business days. Please act in a timely manner if you plan to attend an event on a certain date.
3. You will receive an email once your application has completed processing and your information will appear on the district approved volunteer/chaperone/mentor list.
4. Volunteers must re-apply each school year - applications are valid July 1 - June 30.

According to Texas Education Code, Section 22.083, Pasadena ISD may obtain criminal history record information on an individual who has indicated, in writing, an intention to serve as a volunteer.
Completion of the online volunteer application qualifies as written intent to serve as a volunteer within  PasadenaISD and a release to conduct a criminal background information check. Criminal information obtained is confidential and used only for ensuring student safety amd not for employment.
