JOB TITLE: Temporary Paraprofessional
STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Hiring Manager and Human Resources
TERMS: 185 Day (as needed)
PAY GRADE: $10.00/Hour
Primary Purpose:
Responsible for fulfilling the duties of the absent aide.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to operate office equipment including computers for clerks
- Ability to work effectively with people
Experience:
- Working with diverse groups
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work with all children
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment conducive to learning
- Answer incoming calls, take reliable messages and/or route to appropriate staff
- Sort, distribute, or deliver mail and other documents
- Operate office and classroom equipment including computers
- Perform other related duties as assigned
