KRS 160.380 requires "...  a letter, provided by the individual, from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services stating the employee is clear to hire based on no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect found through a background check of child abuse and neglect records maintained by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services on all certified (5a) and classified (6a) initial hires."

CANS checks (Child Registry Check DPP-156) must be requested by the applicant through the Kentucky Online Gateway: https://kog.chfs.ky.gov/home/
When requesting a CANS check please check the box for Employer/Agency Information and list for Employer: Oldham County Schools and EmailAddress: richard.graviss@oldham.kyschools.us
 

CBD products are not regulated by the FDA and as a result may contain THC even if this is not listed on the label.  Testing positive for THC will disqualify you from employment with the Oldham County Schools.  If you are using a CBD product, please discontinue use prior to applying.
