We strive to acknowledge, respect, understand, and celebrate the dynamics of racial and cultural differences. Through the development of culturally proficient staff, the establishment of structures that promote equitable opportunities, and partnerships with families and students, our School District will create an environment of respect where all members of the school community are empowered to learn, grow, and appreciate one another. What are Extended School Year (ESY) services?
ESY services are special education and related services that are provided to students with disabilities beyond the 180-day school year. In some cases, interruptions in the school schedule, such as summer break, may result in some students with disabilities regressing on specific skills and taking a much longer time to regain those skills than their peers without disabilities once school is back in session.
