TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Salary based on salary scale established by the school board based on a Six-hour day, a five-hour day, a four-hour day, a three day, or a two-hour day.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated semi-annually in accordance with provisions of the Board of Trustees policy on evaluation of District personnel.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform efficiently and to the best of his/her ability the duties assigned in relation to preparation of food, serving of food, cleaning all areas of the kitchen, or other assigned duties in the time allotted.
- Attend training meetings as required.
- Report to work at designated time, sign the time card, and remain on the job until dismissed by the manager.
- Notify the manager at the earliest possible time when unable to work.
- Maintain pleasant working relations with fellow employees by showing consideration for others, patience, respect, self-control, and other desirable character traits.
- Maintain desirable relations between school and community.
- Follow all policies of the School Board and instructions of the manager relating to safety measures, sanitation practices, personal standards, work techniques, and methods of performing duties.
- Perform duties involved in the safe preparation and handling of food, cleaning, and sanitizing of equipment and facilities, serving of food, cashiering, and record keeping.
- During cafeteria working hours, workers shall devote their time to cafeteria duties.
- Select food needed from Storeroom between opening of the cafeteria and 8:30 am.
- All foods taken out of the storeroom are to be recorded by name and amount.
- All Workers are to keep the storeroom, cooler, and freezer orderly and clean.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
