DUTIES:
1. Administer NYSESLAT.
2. Plan and deliver instruction for ELL students in accordance with NYS mandates and standards.
3. Select, utilize and adapt appropriate second language learning strategies.
4. Develop and implement effective student behavior management plans.
5. Establish and maintain a daily schedule.
6. Complete reports for student attendance, progress and evaluation.
7. Attend school related meetings relevant to ENL program and students.
8. Consult and co-plan with classroom teachers and school administrators regarding instruction and students’ needs.
9. Communicate with parents/guardians.
10. Participate in professional development and continuing education.
11. Travel to various locations as assigned to provide services.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
1. Current NYS ESL Teacher Certification required
2. Knowledge of NYS Learning Standards, Common Core and ESL assessments
3. Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
4. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).

DUTIES:
1.  Plan and provide instruction for students with a variety of disabilities including learning and emotional as well as multiple disabilities in accordance with NYS mandates and standards.
2.  Develop, implement, and evaluate Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet student needs.
3.  Provide IEP services resource room and consultant teacher services in accordance with NYS mandates.
4.  Work as a part of a multidisciplinary team to foster collaborative planning and an approach to facilitating and developing work habits and skills.
5.  Communicate effectively with home, school staff, district, and community services.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.  Special Education Certification required.
2.  Experience working with students who exhibit learning disabilities preferred.
3.  Experience working with students with disabilities in Math and Science, preferred.
4.  Knowledge and experience with New York State Standards, curriculum, and New York State Assessments.

1.  Plan and provide instruction for students with multiple disabilities in accordance with NYS mandates and standards.
2.  Provide individualized educational programs for middle/high school students with significant behavioral, intellectual, and mental health needs.
3.  Develop, implement, and evaluate Individual Education Plans (IEPS) to meet student needs.
4.  Develop, implement, and evaluate lesson plans utilizing best practices.
5.  Develop, implement, and evaluate alternative behavior management plans.
6.  Work on a multidisciplinary team to foster collaborative planning and an interdisciplinary approach to learning.
7.  Effectively communicate with school staff, parents, districts, and community agencies.
8.  Manage and support classroom team.
9.  Participate in on-going training.  

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.  NYS Teacher Certification preferred.
2.  Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
3.  Training in Life Crisis Intervention strategies, TCI, SCIP-R, or similar problem-solving strategies preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master’s Degree and NYS Certification as a Teacher of the Blind/Visually Impaired
2. Certified/Qualified in Orientation and Mobility preferred.
3. Experience as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired/Mobility Instructor preferred.
4. Demonstrated ability to instruct in Braille inclusive of Nemeth Code preferred.
5. Experience and/or Knowledge of Assistive Technology preferred.
6. Open Minded and Flexible.
