LOCATION OF POSITION: Monroe One BOCES - 41 O'Connor Road, Fairport NY 14450; Clinical Therapy
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-Month Position; Full-Time
STARTING DATE: July 1, 2025
SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $95,000 per school year
*Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract. DUTIES:
1. Provide general support for related service providers (speech language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, music therapy) in BOCES program as well as itinerant locations:
2. Collaborate with other departments or programs to maintain quality support services.
3. Represent the department in BOCES-wide initiatives as needed.
4. Provide shared leadership, supervision, and evaluation of the department staff.
5. Support the recruitment, hiring, and training of new employees.
6. Provide ongoing staff support and professional learning.
7. Assist with scheduling and assignments.
8. Perform related duties as assigned by their supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. NYS Administrative Certification: School District Administrator (SDA), School District Leader (SDL). or School Administrator (new 2025 cert.)
2. Five (5) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent experience as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Music Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist.
3. Experience in Special Education, including, but not limited to, speech language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or music therapy.
4. Knowledge of data driven program development.
5. Outstanding leadership skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
8. Experience with Trauma Informed Restorative Practices within a school setting
7. Valid New York State Driver's License.
8. Knowledge and experience regarding BOCES programs, services, and operations preferred.
9. Experience with Coaching Models of supervision.
10. Experience and familiarity with Annual Professional Performance Reviews (APPR/STEPS).
11. Experience with Professional Learning Communities (PLC).
12. Physically able to perform all duties required of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
