TEACHER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
 
The Meriden Public Schools' announces the launch of its Teacher Development Program for the 2024-2025 school year.  The district will be hiring recently certified Connecticut teachers to teach in the district's thirteen schools.  Teachers in the program will receive district professional development and be invited to attend trainings.  They will be given primary consideration for long-term vacancies and be guaranteed interviews for upcoming teaching vacancies. Professional training including interviewing techniques and resume-writing will be offered.  Teacher Development Program will work five days a week in a designated school for the year.    Teachers will be assigned to specific buildings and assignments will vary day-to-day.  It is a competitive application and interview process.

Job Specifics:
