Minimum Requirements:  
Current Greece Central Aide


Desired Qualifications: 
Candidates must be willing to participate in ongoing training related to autism and/or behavior intervention;
Must be flexible, patient and physically/emotionally able to handle rigorous individualized programs;
Work effectively with school staff, parents, caregivers and team members;
Maintain standards of decorum and confidentiality;
Daily attendance is expected.


Position Summary/Responsibilities: 
Implements individual Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP);
Assists and models instructional techniques when necessary;
Maintains and records student data;
Collects student performance data and monitors progress on a daily basis;
Prepares instructional materials for individualized instruction as appropriate;
Participates in all classroom and building training;
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK THE ENTIRE SUMMER SESSION (Tentative dates are July 7th through August 15th, 2025)

Daily hours are 6.5 hours a day with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch

Position Summary/Responsibilities: 
Provides direct instruction to individual students or small groups of students under the general supervision of a
certified teacher in support of the instructional plan;
Provides teacher with information about students that will assist the teacher in the development of appropriate
learning and behavioral experiences in a Special Education classroom working with special needs students;
Assists pupils in the use of available instructional resources and in the development of instructional materials;
Utilizes their own special skills and abilities by assisting in instructional programs in such areas as: academic
subjects, language other than English, arts, music, special subjects, and supports activities of daily living (i.e., feeding, toileting and grooming);
Assists in related instructional work as required (including copying);
Assists students with specific health related activities as appropriate;
Assists with coordination of student development of parent/student workshops;
Supervises lunch room and bus duty;
Assists students with disabilities with their daily activities;
Must be comfortable with students with challenging physical impairments;

(B) Two (2) years of full-time or its part-time equivalent professional** paid work experience working with individuals with special needs*** performing either vocational or employment counseling, or training (such as basic life skills training, job skills development training, job retention skills training, remedial skills training), or as an instructor or instructor’s assistant (such as School Aide, Teacher Aide or Senior Teacher Aide), all of which must be in an educational facility, institution, or agency; OR,
(C) Any equivalent combination of education and experience as described by the limits of (A)and (B) above.
