    POSITION:   Confidential Secretary to the Director of Special Services/Office Manager (12 month position)

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     
    • High School diploma required; college degree or successful completion of a 2-year program at an accredited college preferred.

    • Shall successfully complete skills assessment.

    • Secretary/central office experience required, preferably in a Special Services/CST Office.

    • Strong background in technology applications utilized for data management, record keeping and billing (e.g. Microsoft Office, GoogleApps, Alio, Frontline and Special Education Medicaid Initiative (SEMI).

    • Familiarity with website design.

    • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate when needed.

    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

    • Ability to maintain confidential records and files.

    • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the BOE may find appropriate and acceptable.

     

    CONTRACT SCHOOL YEAR:    2025-2026 school year (anticipated start date July 1, 2025)

    JOB GOAL:

     
    • To assist the Director of Special Services with job related tasks so that he/she may devote maximum attention to improving programs and  providing a continuum of services.

    • To coordinate tasks within the department to remain in compliance with timelines and processing of information.
       

     

    Compensation:  Salary and benefits package, pension plan, and paid time off included.

     

    Reports To:  Director of Special Services
