Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing, current Minnesota RN licensure.
2. Public Health certificate desired.
3. Minimum of two years of licensed nursing experience (LPN or RN) in the US, at least one year in the provision of long term care facility services in the US.
4. Instructor must complete the Minnesota State-Long Term Care Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide Curriculum training.
5. Eligible for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Minnesota Teaching License.
6. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide students with daily instruction in Certified Nursing Assistant curriculum.
2. Schedule and supervise student clinical hours.
3. Work collaborative with post-secondary partner to address concurrent enrollment requirements.
4. Schedule student written and clinical exams.
