MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS REQUIRED:

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s Degree and hold appropriate Indiana certification.Summer school programming for IREAD remediation must be taught by a teacher, instructor, or tutor who is trained in science of
reading, meaning the instructor must have completed at least 25 hours from the Early Literacy Endorsement Verified Professional Development Programs
and be working toward earning the EarlyLiteracy Endorsement if required for their license renewal after June 30, 2027.


GENERAL FUNCTIONS/PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The primary functions of the teacher is to plan, guide, and evaluate the learning process of the students for whom they are responsible within the framework of the school organization and curriculum.

Title of Position:  Food Service Assistant Manager
 
General Functions/Professional Responsibilities:
The primary function of the Food Service Assistant Manager is to help the Food Service Manager by directing and guiding overall food and nutrition services program at the school level, while conforming to food quality standards and implementation of nutrition standards for meals. Employee must oversee productivity, accountability, training, and evaluation of staff. In carrying out assigned responsibilities, the School Food Service Assistant Manager must ensure that all personnel under his/her operational control comply with all government, regulatory, state agency and school district policies and procedures. During consultation with other school professionals, staff, teachers and administrators, the highest possible customer satisfaction is to be achieved.
 
 
Employment Status:  Full Time
 
Salary Range: 18.50 per hour
 
Assigned Work Days Per Year:  182 days
 
Assigned Hours Per Day: 7.0

Minimum Qualifications and Credentials Required:
 
1.         Educational Requirements:  A high school education or equivalent is required. College training or technical training is desirable.
 
2.         Experience:   Minimum of 1 year experience in an institutional food service setting or other hospitality field.
 
3.         Skills and Knowledge: In food preparation, personnel management, preparation of reports and maintaining efficient staff. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Titan POS                    System
 
4.        Certification: Employee must be Serv-Save certified or achieve certification within one year of hire keeping up with current requirements.  
 
Essential Functions:
• Responsible for planning and preparing main entrees and other food items as assigned.
• Cover Cafeteria Manager when out of the building including but not limited to inventory, ordering/receiving, supervision of staff, daily reports
• Assist as needed with other duties as assigned by Food Service Manager.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
To enable each child to pursue his/her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of his/her regular teacher.
                                   
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.  Educational Requirements:
A minimum of twenty (20) credits from an accredited college/university
        -OR-
Related experience in an educational setting with a high school diploma.

2.  Possess Skills and Knowledge: Effective communication skills.  Able to work with a wide range of students; able
to work effectively with the staff and administration.
 
SALARY BENEFITS:         $ 110 for a whole day (sub permit) / $120 for a whole day (if you possess a valid Indiana teaching license)
                                            $ 55 for a half day (sub permit) / $60 for a half day (if you possess a valid Indiana teaching license)
                                            
*Any substitute teacher who completes twelve (12) or more full day equivalent assignments during the course of a calendar month will receive an additional $10 a day compensation for those assignments. This bonus would be paid in lump sum at the end of the month on the next available pay check.

Getting Started: The first step to becoming a substitute teacher is to complete the online application. If you meet the requirements, you will be contacted by a representative from HR. If you are selected, you will be required to complete a Criminal History Check and apply for Substitute Permit. Upon completion, you will be brought in for a new hire orientation and will be added to our substitute list. Please do not apply for your substitute permit until the HR Department contacts you.  It will not be approved until all documents are completed through the HR Department.
