Position Purpose
Under the general supervision of the local Pastor and the Superintendent of Schools, the duty of Principal is to provide leadership and supervision in administering the educational program of an Elementary School in order to promote the spiritual and educational development and achievement of students in accordance with Archdiocesan policies, administrative procedures, rules and regulations, and applicable law.
Essential Functions
 
• Develops and administers school programs consistent with Archdiocesan goals and objectives.
• Provides leadership and direction to staff with regard to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of educational programs, including curricular and extra-curricular activities.
• Promotes a school environment that is safe and conducive to individualized instruction, cooperative curriculum development, and student learning.
• Ensures that policies and procedures are implemented and followed at the school.
• Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings, or by conducting research.
• Encourages staff to continue to grow professionally and to experiment with new approaches or strategies to teaching.
• Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping and reporting for all student activities, attendance and records as required.
• Coordinates the work of school staff and campus leaders to develop and implement instructional programs and teaching practices.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning, and works with teaching staff to modify instructional methods to fit students' needs, including students with special needs.
• Coordinates with the Catholic Schools Office in recruitment and selection of employees, the proper maintenance of employee personnel files, corrective action, and other human resource issues.
• Organizes and conducts regular meetings with teachers for continuing development of instructional techniques.
• Involves staff in the evaluation of programs and the planning of new programs.
• Encourages parental involvement in students' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents.
• Ensures that student conduct conforms with the school's standards and Archdiocesan policies.
• Supervises and evaluates teaching staff and other building employees in accordance with the Archdiocesan evaluation plan, and makes recommendations regarding goals, areas needing improvement and continued employment.Organizes and manages the budgetary and financial affairs of the school consistent with Archdiocesan policies.
Additional Duties
Performs other related tasks as assigned by local Pastor and the Superintendent and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

Travel Requirements
Travels to Archdiocesan buildings and professional meetings as required.

Work Schedule
Standard administrator work schedule as set forth in the Administrator's Handbook in coordination with the local Pastor.

• Knowledge of Catholic faith and tradition.
• Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiates instruction based upon student learning styles.
• Knowledge of elementary school curriculum and concepts.
• Knowledge of best practices in administration, program evaluation and staff supervision.
• Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education.
• Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed.
• Ability to develop and implement projects.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
• Ability to organize multiple tasks and conflicting time constraints.
• Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to leadership, performance and professional growth.

Certification/License: Texas State Certification preferred.
 
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation. 
 
Education
 
• Practicing Catholic with a commitment to ongoing formation in catechetical and spiritual leadership development as defined and monitored by the local ordinary and superintendent.
• Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision or Educational Leadership
• OR Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 credit hours in educational administration and supervision courses. 
• OR a valid, appropriate state certificate for a principal
 
Experience
 
• A minimum of three years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level, preferably in more than one grade level.
• A minimum of three years Administrative experience in Elementary, preferably at a Catholic School.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is currently seeking Coaches for the following teams this school year:

More information about the positions. All coaches must fill out an Applitrack form on the Galveston-Houston Arch-Diocese website, complete the online Safe Environment Training and complete a series of required School Annual Trainings online – Bloodline Pathogens, First Aid & Sudden Illness, AED & CPR, Anaphylaxis & Epinephrine and Child Abuse & Neglect. This is a stipend only position.

When the games begin late August, the teams will normally practice twice and play twice a week. We are a part for the Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association which is divided into a North and South division. We normally play an away and home game against each of schools in our division. So, there will be so travel involved. The players parents are responsible for their student athlete transportation to games. 

There is a wide range of skill with our student athletes. Some have some experience but, some do not. We do not cut student athletes, so, every student athlete that wants to play is able to make the team. As I said earlier the JV team is developmental and our Varsity is the competitive team.

It is important that the candidate has coaching/playing experience, is knowledgeable about the game, excellent communication skills, a good rapport with players and parents and mostly is a good Christian example for our student athletes.

Job Purpose:
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School, a Catholic classical school located in northwest Houston, is seeking a full-time Theology instructor to join our community of scholars and teachers.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton teachers educate within the catholic school academic level. They teach, inspire, advise, critique, question and counsel to bring out the best in our students.
 
Summary
The ideal teacher for our school will have a Master’s degree with a background in Theology, Latin, Classics, and/or Sacred Music, along with familiarity with Catholic classical education philosophy. The desired candidate will be fully rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition and fidelity to Church teaching. The applicant should understand how a comprehensive Catholic worldview permeates the classroom environment. In addition to accepting and promoting Church teaching on faith and morals, the ideal candidate is committed to upholding the Tradition of the Church, holding fast to the deposit of faith, and living as a witness to Christ.

The main responsibilities will include:

Position Purpose
Under the general supervision of the School Principal,  a substitute is asked to uphold the Catholic culture and classroom procedures as outlined by the teacher of record.
The substitute will follow detailed instructions left by the teacher of record and carry out those duties faithfully.   This includes classroom instruction, student supervision and other duties for the community.

The purpose of Catholic schools is to educate the mind, heart and spirit by providing an environment that promotes Catholic identity and stewardship to others.  This should be demonstrated through excellence in education and faith in action. • Selects and requisitions appropriate books, instructional aids and other supplies and equipment and maintains inventory records.
• Supervises students in activities that take place out of the classroom during the school day, including activities involving transportation.
• Administers standardized tests in accordance with Archdiocesan testing programs.
