Education and Experience Requirements: |
- Must possess valid New Mexico driver’s license
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience
- Must possess or have the ability to immediately obtain one or more of the following licenses or certifications:
- NM CID Journeyman or Contractor License
- EPA Certification
- Carpentry or Handyman Certification
- Irrigation or Low Voltage Wiring Certification
- Equipment Operator Certification
- Other Approved License or Certification

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: |
- Knowledge of hand and power tool operation
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor
- Ability to perform or assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, electrical systems, structural systems, HVAC systems, roofing, lawn and grounds maintenance, doors and hardware, flooring, siding, foundations, fixtures, and equipment
- Ability to repair and maintain tools and equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively and appropriately with supervisors, students, and staff
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements

Conditions of Employment: Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee’s Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District’s expense to determine ability to perform job-related functions and fitness for duty.
