Education and Experience Requirements: |
- Retired Air Force commissioned or non-commissioned officer.
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or leadership roles.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire high school students.
- Commitment to the values and mission of the AFJROTC program.
- Excellent assessment, data analysis, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, staff, and outside agencies.
- Proven ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, take appropriate action, and resolveissues using independent judgment and decision-making.
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions and competing priorities.

Salary: Twelve months (234 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the District Salary Schedule. The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions that may or may not be Permanent. Reference: Alamogordo Public Schools Salary and Work Day Calendar |

Conditions of Employment: Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee’s Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District’s expense to determine ability to perform job-related functions and fitness for duty. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of all background, criminal, and reference investigations. |
