Position Description: Internship - APS Ferguson Academy
.The Alamogordo Public Schools District seeks motivated and responsible high school students to join our team in the Summer of 2025 as First Responder Intern. In this internship, the training will cover various topics related to fire and police: Evidence collection, apprehending offenders, rendering emergency first-aid, responding to critical incidents, fire suppression, and de-escalation techniques. The school district will provide each intern with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Essential Functions: • Attending all three weeks of scenario-based training sessions with a maximum of one excused absence. • Actively participating in scenario-based simulations. • Working effectively in a team under supervision. • Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
