PRIMARY PURPOSE:
• To handle the secretarial duties involved with curriculum coordinators and director and the effective organization of each subject area.               
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
• Knowledge of basic computer and keyboarding skills
EXPERIENCE:
• Prior secretarial experience at a school or administration level
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Answer telephones, respond to inquiries or route calls to appropriate person.
• Demonstrate effective communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
• Enter data in Eduphoria, , Munis, and other Google applications
• Work well with others, exhibit exceptional diplomacy, and maintain confidentiality
• Assist in compiling information for the preparation of various reports for coordinators.
• Type correspondence such as letters, memos, reports and forms.
• Prepare requisitions for purchases and checks.
• Maintain and update computer databases for coordinators/director.
• Make travel arrangements including air and hotel reservations.
• Submit and track purchase orders for equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Mental Demands:
• Writing routine reports and correspondence
• Interacting with the public and other staff and occasionally meeting multiple demands from several people
• Interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
Physical demands/environmental factors:
• Continuous typing
• Reaching with hands and arms and frequently repeating the same hand, arm or finger motion.
• Lifting/moving up to 10 pounds such as supplies of copier paper.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
• To assist the Internal Auditor in active District Audit and Business Services work while learning the operations of a major school district’s functions relating to effective business practices.                   
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
• Intended for a candidate who is working to achieve a business degree at a four-year institution. Completed at least two years of fulltime college attendance toward a business degree diploma with a demonstrated GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• At least 6 college hours of Accounting required, 3 hours in Statistics and College English preferred.
 
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
• Demonstrates at least intermediate knowledge of core computer applications involving spreadsheets, documentation (such as MS Word) and presentation software.  Candidate may be asked to complete samples of work on these applications during interview process.
• Business project team work, experience writing business or research study reports, research and analytical skills particularly in finance and accounting – all preferred.
• Working knowledge of researching and following work policies and procedures and validating             
EXPERIENCE:
• Office environment preferred.
• Researching and reporting project work in an academic environment required and in a business environment preferred.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Assist internal audit in analyzing work data and processes as part of the MISD Audit Plan.
• Participate in discussions with MISD task owners to conduct field work and investigations into work performed as part of audit plan.
• Research and analyze work policies and procedures and validate actual practice with compliance with the policies.
• Draft work reports of field work conducted and present results for possible action.
• Maintain professional and confidential approach to all information and findings.
• Conduct administrative tasks as needed to follow audit procedures including reporting, organization and communication of data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Conduct work with collaborative and professional manner despite challenges posed by areas under audit.
• Maintain excellent time management skills
