TThe Intervention Specialist provides targeted support to K-5 students in need of assistance with reading or math skills. Under the direction of the Building Principal and/or Assistant Principal, and with guidance from the Instructional Coach, the Intervention Specialist delivers small group and one-on-one instruction using research-based strategies and prescribed interventions. They are responsible for monitoring student progress weekly to ensure students are progressing toward grade-level expectations in reading and math.
