Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Food Service Assistant.
The Food Service Assistant supports the daily operations of the Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) department by preparing, dishing, and serving menu items in accordance with departmental standards. This role also involves assisting with the maintenance and cleanliness of the FNS facility and equipment to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and departmental regulations. The Food Service Assistant works closely with the Head Cook, Second Cook, FNS staff, students, and district personnel to promote a positive and efficient work environment.
