Willmar Public Schools is currently seeking applicants for the position of Social Worker.
The School District Social Worker serves as a vital link between students, families, schools, and community resources. This position provides social work services to support the well-being, academic success, and mental health of students within the district. The social worker will assist families with enrollment, support homeless youth and students in care and treatment, address truancy concerns, and provide crisis intervention. Additionally, they will facilitate professional development and strengthen connections with community resources.

Rate of Pay | Based upon credentials including Education and Experience as per Teacher Master agreement. Bachelor’s Degree Range: $50,674 to $66,047 Master’s Degree Range: $58,361 to $83,342 Master’s + 40/PhD/PsyS/EdS/EdD Range: $66,047 to $91,029 |
Hours Per Day | 7.5 Hours Per Day |
Schedule (Approximately) | 7:15am - 3:15pm |
Working Days per Year | 182 Teacher Work Days, 2025-2026 School Year |

Qualifications Required | Must have a Master’s Degree in Social Work Must have dual license by the MN Board of Social Work (MN BOSW) and the Professional Educators Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) Experience working with youth and families in an educational or social services setting
