Duties:
The Elementary School Principal is responsible for providing effective leadership and administration of the elementary school, ensuring a safe, positive, and productive learning environment for students and staff. They are accountable for academic excellence, school safety, and the overall well-being of the school community.
Qualifications:
PEL with Administrative Endorsement for Principal
Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience, preferably at the elementary level
Administrative experience preferred
Demonstrated leadership experience in an educational setting.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Starting Salary of $85,000
Annual salary is regionally competitive with consideration of previous, relevant experience. Peotone CUSD 207U Board of Education pays the full employee share of pension contributions (TRS 9%), 100% of the health insurance costs for the employee, and provides a $50,000 life insurance policy.
