    Qualifications:
    • Hold a NJ Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification - MS w/Subject Matter Specialization- English Language Arts/Literacy Grades 5-8 Certificate 
    • Experience with elementary school students with various ability levels and disabilities
    • Resource room and/or LLD experience highly preferred
    • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research- related learning
     

    Responsibilities

     
    • To lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth
    • Provide the instructional program specified in each student's Individualized Educational Plan
