PART I: SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Technology Solutions Intern will support the Technology Team with the inventory and inspection of classroom technology equipment—including Apple TVs, projectors, rapid chargers, phones, and more—and to assist with the preparation of computers and iPads for the return to school in the fall. In addition to these responsibilities, this role will also help the Technology Team with special seasonal projects as needed.

Basic understanding of technology devices (iPads, laptops, projectors, Apple TVs, etc.).
Familiarity with basic computer or tablet operations (e.g., powering devices on/off, connecting to Wi-Fi, etc.).
Awareness of safe handling procedures for electronic devices.
Ability to follow directions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail when inspecting equipment or recording inventory.
Basic troubleshooting skills (e.g., recognizing when a device is not functioning properly).
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Verbal and written communication skills appropriate for workplace settings.
Lift and move equipment (up to 20 pounds) and be on feet for extended periods.
Work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team.
Learn new software tools and device procedures with guidance.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working in school environments.
Show initiative in completing assigned tasks and asking for clarification when needed.

Assist with inventory management by scanning, labeling, and organizing technology equipment.
Inspect classroom devices (e.g., Apple TVs, projectors, rapid chargers, phones) for functionality and physical condition.
Help prepare iPads for deployment, including charging, updating, cleaning, and basic setup tasks.
Move and organize technology equipment between classrooms, storage areas, and workspaces.
Support the Technology Team with special seasonal projects (e.g., device collection, configuration, and basic troubleshooting).
Follow detailed instructions and checklists for equipment tracking and inspection tasks.
Maintain accurate records of completed work and communicate task status to supervising staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
PART IV: WORK LOCATIONS
Work locations will vary daily and may involve travel to multiple buildings within the district. The Technology Student Intern is responsible for coordinating and providing their own transportation between sites throughout the workday. The main location is the Annex Building and is listed below:
