Description:
Assignments for substitute teachers are available at all grade levels and all subject areas. A Bachelor's degree is required. Substitute teachers must be able to follow instructions and lesson plans left by the teacher. As a substitute teacher you must be able to work with students with special education needs. Excellent communication skills are required. Must be reliable and have a positive attitude. The District uses Aesop, which is an automated substitute service that allows you to search and accept/decline the substitute jobs by school. Substitute compensation rate is $115.00 per day.

Complete and submit an online application accessed through our website www.plainvilleschools.org (click on "Employment Opportunities"). Attach transcripts indicating a Bachelor's degree has been completed, and attach a minimum of one signed current letter of recommendation. (Once hired, fingerprints and DCF information must be submitted for a national background check).
