Adult Basic Education / General Education Development (GED) Preparation Instructor
Instructor must differentiate to instruct combination class as follows:
Adult Basic Education (ABE): The Instructor will assist adult students who need to develop fundamental skills in Language Arts and Mathematics. ABE may serve as a transition to the GED Preparation Program. General Education Development Preparation (GED): The Instructor will assist students preparing for computer-based (GED) exams. Must understand the educational needs of adult learners (ages 17 and up), and assist students to strive for higher education and acquire a technology-based skill set, transferable to employment research, acquisition, and job sustainability. Participation in mandated professional development initiatives required. Must be a current certified CT educator and eligible for Adult Education Endorsement #107.
Fall-Spring Semesters /Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings / 9:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. / $34.80 per hour Application Procedure:
