The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for the position of School Counselor at Mt. Lebanon High School.
This is a full-time, on-site, anticipated contract vacancy beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.

In order to be eligible to apply, the candidate must hold an active Instructional Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in School Counseling that is inclusive of Grades 9-12.
OR equivalent authorization in the form of a college/university placeholder letter stating completion of a PDE approved school counselor preparation program and evidence of passing scores on the appropriate certification examinations, while certification is pending through PDE.

Entry onto the salary schedule for new hire counselors is capped at Step 4 for individuals with prior K-12 teaching experience.

Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher - ABA Classroom

The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking applicants for a Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher position at Mellon Middle School. 

This is a full-time, on-site, temporary assignment in an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) classroom. The start date is to be determined but is anticipated to be May 2, 2025. The assignment will extend through the remainder of the school year, currently scheduled for June 6, 2025. This is an anticipated 25 day assignment.

As long as the assignment commences no later than May 2, 2025, this position will be eligible for the degree level daily rate at step 1 of the teachers salary schedule with rates starting at $282 per day depending upon credential. 
If the substitute is not able to start until after May 2, 2025, then it will be paid at the per diem substitute teacher rate of $125.
This position will not be eligible for paid time off or district subsidized health benefits. 

Required: Active Instructional Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education in Special Education inclusive of Grades 6-8.
