Primary Purpose:
The Behavior Interventionist will provide leadership, support, and expertise to address students with challenging behaviors. Assess the behavioral needs of students referred for intervention services. Provide diagnostic information and work cooperatively with campus personnel to provide the most appropriate intervention for students and guide teachers on strategies to use in the classroom.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in education an accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of behavior and social skill intervention techniques and methodology
Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years successful Special Education teaching experience
