  A vacancy exists for a Pre-K Counts Teacher to work at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in the Office of Early Childhood Services. This full-time position provides instruction to children ages 3-5 years old.  This position is currently available.
 
Qualifications:
• Valid PA Certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) required.
• Knowledge of best practices and experience with differentiation.
• Ability to work with and relate to young children and families of diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work in harmony with administrative, instructional, and non-instructional personnel.
• Experience in an early childhood setting preferred.
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint Clearances required
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Implement the curriculum.
• Provide a safe and secure classroom environment that meets the needs of all participating children in the program.

Location:
The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit PreK Counts program has classrooms located throughout Montgomery County, PA.  More information on the PreK Counts program can be found at https://mciu.org/office-of-early-childhood-services/pre-k-counts/.  This position is located at our Discovery Center (375 Morris Rd. Lansdale, PA).

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months (194 days/year)
 
Salary:
Bachelor's/Instructional I: $40,800/year
Master's/Instructional II: $43,860/year
