    POSITION:  Dorm Host Parents Girls Dorm

     

    REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a Type-20 transportation license through MIDCO. Must be First Aide/CPR certified in Oregon, or able to certify prior to August 15, 2023.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Individual will hold valid driver’s license.

    • Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure the mental, physical well being of the students is maintained to the fullest extent possible.

    • Demonstrate professionalism and appropriate judgment in behavior, speech and dress in a neat, clean and appropriate manner for the assignment and work setting
    • Serve as liaison between the school and community
    • Assist in establishing and maintaining an effective student-centered dormitory environment
    • Have regular and punctual attendance at work and work activities, and is punctual in meeting deadlines, attending meetings and following schedules
    • Serve on Dorm Leadership Committee
    • Work harmoniously with others and communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) with superintendent, students, parents, teachers and community
    • Maintain the integrity of confidential information related to students, families, staff and district patrons
    • Follow all Burnt River School District Policies, work procedures, performance standards and reasonable requests from proper authority

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

     

                           

     
    • This position is performed both indoors and outdoors. Travel may be required to perform duties and may require working extended hours and on weekends, as well as travel on overnight assignments/field trips.
     

     

     
    • This position is a full- time, benefitted, ten-month position, work shift is 3.5 days on, 3.5 days off.
