QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma / GED
Valid MN Class D driver's license (or higher)

Experience Preferred:
One year experience in public or pupil transportation.

Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour. 

Type III Drivers will have the ability to receive training to obtain their Commercial Drivers License and bus endorcement. This would allow them to move into a bus driving position if desired.

Job Summary: Fill in for regular route drivers transporting students to and from school in a safe and timely manner on an as needed basis

General Duties: Perform pre-trip inspection before starting route; transport students to and/or from school; operate the school bus in a safe manner under a variety of weather and road conditions, and according to predetermined time schedules

Required Qualifications:
• Valid MN Class A driver's license with passenger and school bus endorsements
• Meet all requirements for Bus Drivers as required by Mn DOT or other federal, state and local agencies
• Have skills and aptitude to operate a bus safely;
• Enjoy the presence of children;
• Be reliable and punctual;
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check 

Starting wage: $26.15 per hour
