*SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Principal
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. | Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance. | 2. | Keeps accurate record of deposits, expenditures, and current balances of each school account. | 3. | Prepares purchase orders and processes invoices for payment. | 4. | Deposits all monies. | 5. | Assists auditors and state officials in the review of office records. | 6. | Prepares monthly, quarterly and year-end reports. | 7. | Prepares and maintains personnel records including leave account and verification. | 8. | Completes staff development paperwork. | 9. | Operates the computer system to manage all areas of need including financial and word processing. | 10. | Works with others in a cordial and professional manner. | 11. | Performs back-up functions as required. | 12. | Maintains confidentiality. | 13. | Works well with administrators, teachers and staff. | 14. | Knows about state and federal laws pertaining to money. | 15. | MUNIS Expert | 16. | OCR compliance (TITLE IX) | 17. | Performs other duties as assigned by the principal | |
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Routine physical activities associated with typical office setting. Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling and repetitive fine motor activities. Vision, hearing and verbal communications are essential functions of this position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
Demonstrated accounting skills
Computer skills
Above average communication skills
Must be reliable, flexible, and resourceful
