Position Title: FACTS Enrichment Specialist

Hourly Rate: $20.50 - $21.25/hour (depending on experience)
Pay Grade: 71
Schedule: Monday-Friday (hours 6:45 AM- ~8:30 AM, 2:00 PM-6:00 PM Monday-Thursday, 11:00 AM-6:00 PM Fridays, some variability within that time frame as well); 40 hours/week (8 hours/day); 9 month calendar; Benefits Offered; Arizona State Retirement System eligible.
Desired Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year, potential during 2024 Summer
SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:
Responsible for daily management of after-school enrichment programs at 2 sites. Supervise & interact with school age children and provide them with academic, physical and social emotional enrichment programs in a safe and caring environment. Supervise FACTS team members in a collaborative atmosphere, prepare schedules and assign individual responsibilities, and follow all guidelines/policies of DHS, DES, NSLP, and FUSD.
TYPICAL TASKS:
- Supervise and interact with elementary school age children (ages 5-12).
- Provide students with academic help, enrichment activities and recreational/sports programs before and after school.
- Provide a safe and caring environment for students.
- Plan and implement enrichment activities for students.
- Coordinate and distribute snacks to students.
- Responsible for supervision and training of Assistant Enrichment Specialist and Enrichment Activity Leaders.
- Responsible for all deadlines. Must attend staff meetings.
- Ensure that site meets DHS regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Specific training or job experience required before appointment
- Must be 21 years of age and have 18-24 months (depending on education) of hands-on experience working with children in a childcare group setting.
- Must be a high school graduate or have a GED/high school graduate equivalent required.
- Higher education preferred (6-12 units of advanced education classes such as Early Childhood, School-Age Child Care, Psychology or Elementary Education), CDD, AA, BA or any other higher education degree (with 3-6 months childcare experience) is an advantage.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS BEFORE START DATE

- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP Clearance to remain valid for duration of employment)
- DCS 1083C Background check confirming there are no substantiated cases of child abuse or neglect
