Hourly Rate: $21.85 - $22.70/hour (depending on experience).
Pay Grade: 91
Schedule: 40 hours/week; Monday - Friday; 12 month calendar. Benefits offered. Arizona State Retirement System eligible.
Position Posting and Information: Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused HRIS Analyst to join our Human Resources team. This position plays a critical role in managing and optimizing HR systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and seamless user experiences for employees and administrators. Summary of Function
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of HR technology systems, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency. This role provides technical support, training, and reporting for HR staff and district leadership while maintaining compliance with district policies and regulations. The HRIS Analyst will work closely with multiple stakeholders to improve system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements. Key responsibilities include system configuration, data audits, report generation, and customer support to enhance the overall HRIS experience for employees.
QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or equivalent certification - required
- At least 3 years prior experience in a customer service role, with HR experience preferred
- Ability to deal effectively and positively with customers
- Previous experinece in a high-standard customer service environment preferred
- Must be able to multi-task in a high traffic environment
- Ability to use technology relevant to the position including Google and Microsoft Office Suites
- Bilingual preferred
TYPICAL TASKS:
Knowledgeable of certification and/or licenses requirements for positions when applicable
Determine salary placements based on experience
Issue Contracts/Work Agreements for all employees
Compile employee data and create related reports
Provide personnel activity information to HR Director
Maintain electronic records for all employees (personal data, transfers, resignation/termination information, etc.); update as needed
Track vacancies; post available positions on the District website and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Assist with job creation and/or revision of job descriptions
Follow required DPS fingerprinting practices
Complete staff requested documents (Employment Verification forms, Loan applications, etc.)
Manage the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) for employee request, information, and data entry
Respond to staff requests and concerns
Perform other duties as assigned.
