- Advanced experience in school management information systems, information systems, information technology, or computer science
- Substantial recent experience managing complex information technology resources

Advanced technology experience in a public school educational environment
Thorough working knowledge of network systems including: TCP/IP and related network protocols, wireless access technologies and related security, Windows 11 workstations, and Windows server 2019/2022 operating systems

Oversee, organize, and maintain the network design, installation, and administration of school VoIP, video, and data systems
Oversee and organize the installation, maintenance, and replacement of servers, workstations, network printers, telephones, wireless network devices, wiring infrastructure, door entry systems, and other network devices
Oversee network administration including troubleshooting, upgrading software, creating user accounts, managing storage space, monitoring passwords, monitoring virus logs, scheduling maintenance, overseeing backups, resolving printer problems, etc.
Provide data management expertise in the areas of data entry, data export, web-site development, ordering, budgeting, and purchasing
Oversee, troubleshoot, and administer technology, and participate in recommending and implementing upgrades and changes as needed
Participate in training staff on District technology software and hardware as needed, both in individual and group settings
Oversee the management of district student information systems and other District-level software applications
Oversee the electronic data collection and transfer of data to appropriate local, state, and federal agencies
Participate in District Leadership Team and other meetings as assigned
Work with all technology paraprofessionals and staff to provide for the timely maintenance and repair of technology equipment
Coordinate annual basic use and security training for new and existing staff, and facilitate training related to technology integration
Provide support for other District projects requiring technology assistance
Provide information in response to inquiries in person, by telephone, or through email
Plan and prioritize workload to meet set deadlines
Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials
Provide opportunities for all staff to improve their knowledge and practical use of District Information Systems
Complete and file all E-Rate applications and reports on time
Prepare and deliver reports relative to technology
Maintain and educate staff on the use of Interactive SmartBoards
Ability to maintain knowledge of present and emerging technologies
