This is an After School Position and does not constitute permanent hire in the District for 2024-2025 school year.
DESCRIPTION: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pupil Services, the 21st Century Site Coordinator will provide leadership in planning, implementing and coordinating the 21st Century After School program.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working in an educational environment.
• Experience coordinating youth development and youth enrichment programs
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience in education, counseling, youth development, and/or after school programming preferred
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Organizes and works closely with a school team to implement the program
• Coordinates the evaluation of the 21st Century within the assigned school
• Coordinates for supplies, materials, equipment, and transportation request.
• Coordinates the implementation of programs, daily activities, and special events sponsored by the 21st Century at the school assigned
• Schedules, monitors, and evaluates effectiveness of staff either assigned or contracted by 21st Century.
• Plans, helps sponsor, and participates in activities designed to implement goals of the 21st Centurye Grant
• Must be able to conduct activities for groups on some occasions
• Must be able to represent in program faculty meetings, parent group meetings, or other community meetings.
• Must submit reports as requested to Program Supervisor.
• Must attend scheduled Site Coordinator meetings and training sessions as required.
• Must keep accurate records of student attendance, students grades, and site inventory
• Any other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS
Maintain effective critical thinking skills needed for making observations, reading, and writing, communicating with others. Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, occasionally required to lift up to 24 lbs.
