  East Grand Forks School District is seeking applicants for a After Wave Teacher Assistant

East Grand Forks, MN is a city with a population of approximately 8,500 and located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota. It borders Grand Forks, ND and is very close to the University of North Dakota and Northland Community and Technical College. The district’s K-12 enrollment is approximately 1900 students as well as a thriving preschool program. The district has four separate school buildings housing grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.


Terms:
Compensation will be $17.70/hour
This is not a benefitted position
Hours will be from 2:30PM-6:30PM M-F
Reporting location will be at New Heights Elementary School

Qualifications:
Willingness to develop and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, other district staff, students, and members of the public.

Reporting Relationship:
Community Education Director

Basic Function of the Position:
Direct supervision of students enrolled in After Wave
 
Job Description:
Provide high quality childcare (after school and on full days specified) for students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade.
The program seeks to provide an education recreational environment conducive to learning with a minimum of formal instruction.
