Edina Public Schools is seeking applicants for a Health Services Associate position, starting June 12, 2025, to serve our extended school year programming.
           
POSITION:	Health Services Associate (HSA) - ESY
LOCATION:	Highlands Elementary School
DAILY SCHEDULE:	8:45am-12:15pm
DAYS PER YEAR:	Summer Only: June 12, June 16-18, June 23-26, July 7-10, July 14-17
RATE OF PAY:	The wage for this position varies based on qualifications and experience. Candidates without a Registered Nurse License through the Minnesota Department of Nursing will earn between $20.98 and $30.27 per hour. Candidates with a Registered Nurse License through the Minnesota Board of Nursing will earn between $28.78 and $33.69 per hour. New hires will typically start at the entry-level rate within the applicable wage range, while candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for a starting rate of up to $25.60 per hour (non-RN) or $32.67 per hour (RN). Wage decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, considering the individual’s experience and the school district’s budget.
BENEFITS:	Edina Public Schools provides eligible employees with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as flexible spending plans. All employees participate in the state’s largest pension program, the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA). In addition, employees can participate in the 403(b) retirement program, with eligibility for a district match based on the terms and conditions outlined in the employee work agreement. Eligible employees also receive paid time off in accordance with the provisions outlined in the employee work agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS:	First Aid and CPR Certification is Required. High school diploma required. School health experience preferred.

Edina Public Schools is accepting applications for a Health Services Associate. This position is responsible for observing students, reporting concerns, and performing delegated technical skills and administrative tasks. The Health Services Associate will be responsible for administering first aid, emergency, and episodic care according to the Health Services Standards of Care, district policies, and district procedures. 
           
POSITION:	Health Services Associate (HSA)

HOURS PER DAY:	7 hours/day
DAILY SCHEDULE:	8:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday
DAYS PER YEAR:	170 days (9-month position)

LICENSURE REQUIREMENT(S):	RN, PHN, School Nurse license issued through the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB).
EXPERIENCE:	School health experience preferred.
RATE OF PAY:	The 2024-2025 starting salary range for this position is $48,909 to $106,848 (pro-rated based on FTE). Salary offers will consider the candidate's experience, education, skills, and the school district's budget. Experienced candidates should expect a salary offer around the midpoint of the salary range. In exceptional cases, salaries exceeding the midpoint may be offered to attract candidates for hard-to-fill positions or those with specialized skills. Such decisions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
